FLASH BACK

I got my start as a graphic designer working in the skate industry. Some of the best days was when I worked for World Industries. Digging around in the storage at my Mom's crib, I found a box of skate decks I designed back in those days, circa 99-00. Not only did i work for World, i also got down with City Stars and Blind.

UP JUMPS THA BOOGIE

Recently Ive been rolling with the Blakeslee camp, ive met one of the most creative groups to come around. Getting the official head nod from Ray Ray Saadiq, Tha Boogie is latest high energy on his Velma Records Lable.

I had the pleasure of banging out there identity package. This font treatment was built from basic shapes and curves in illustrator. The speaker head kid is just anther sweet find streamlined, but it all works so well.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PT.1

Well yo, for the past month Ive been doing an artist in residency at The Blakeslee Studio, in NOHO (North Hollywood, CA.)
This was prolly one of the dopest experiences to happen yet. I was able to develope a new series of paintings and get down on a collab piece with Ryan "The RAT" Anzures. Music, the beach, Cali girls and tress was the consistant vibe the whole trip.

Out on the West the vibe was crazy, alot of inspiration in LA. On our rout driving around we turned on a secluded street to find, The Bishop Don Magic Juan's classic gold and green Rolls Royce.

Players recognize players so i was able to get in and put something up in the back seat. Green is for the Money and gold is for the honeys. Anyways back to the art. These are shots of the ruff starts and finals to a new series I worked on in LA.

More and better pics to come. I want give a special thanks to the Blakeslee Recording Co. staff and Raphael Saadiq.
